Actually, according to the traditional American anniversary gift chart, the proper gift for a second anniversary is cotton. Tin/aluminum (although not exactly that straight up tin foil that Leroy suggested) is actually the appropriate gift for the tenth anniversary. Of course all this should be moot since its been many a decades since the Lockhorns started their unholy union. I'm not really sure why Loretta is talking about their second anniversary which probably occurred sometime around the pre-industrial era. The ultimate goal appears to have been a "Leroy is cheap" punchline, but it's just poorly executed. In addition, Leroy's not actually there to be insulted so it goes down as a push. Official Count:
