Loretta has to get her story straight. Despite the countless examples of her compulsive shopping binges and the ruinous financial aftermaths of said binges, does she really expect Leroy and us to believe that her wardrobe amounts to a sparse shoe closet full of worn and tattered apparel? Something doesn't add up here at all. Pick your caricature Loretta: you're either the shopaholic wife that's dragging the household into the poorhouse or you're the long suffering wife of a financially inadequate husband who can't provide you with nice things.
